What is the Shepperton Village Fair?
For 35 years, Shepperton Village Fair has been a major annual family event, attracting thousands of people. Held close to the Thames on Manor Park (see map here), the Fair incorporates spectacular arena displays, fairground rides, stalls, competitions, craft tent & the famous Great Nauticalia Raft Race.

When is the Fair?
The Fair is held on the second Saturday in June. The next Fair is on Saturday 13 June, 2009.

Who runs it - and why?
The Fair is organised by a volunteer Committee comprising around ten people. Our primary aim is to produce a fun event for the enjoyment of the whole community. In the process, the Fair promotes local charities, organisations and businesses. For some charities, the Fair is their primary source of income for the year.

How is it funded?
The Fair costs well over £15,000 to arrange each year. Funding is partly by the fees charged to stallholders and, crucially, via Sponsors from local businesses and authorities, to whom we are most grateful.

What happens to any profits?
The Fair is organised as non-profit-making, and usually doesn't make any profits. Just occasionally the Committee is able to assist a local cause with a small amount of surplus funds. In the past we have made small donations to Shepperton Health Centre, the Shepperton Community Centre, the Scouts and Manor Mead School.
